Dunshaughlin's website reports that though the opposition deserved the win, the nine-point margin may have somewhat flattered the more 'streetwise' Senchalstown.

The match report also contain some amusing plaudits for Kenny McTigue. McTigue is said to have played through the pain barrier after having suffered an injury at the weekend. That injury was not sustained while playing sport. Rather, it happened during a danceathon in Killarney.
Dancing plumber Kenny McTigue played through the pain barrier. McTigue had serious calf and back pain coming into the match after taking part in a danceathon over the weekend. The veteran plumber danced for 11 straight hours in a Killarney hotel, without even warming up.
Let that be a lesson to always warm-up, even before dancing.
