There are some 360,000 people born every day. This is according to the first link I clicked into after Googling 'How many new babies each day'? Is this number true? Perhaps. Should I, someone who is nominally employed as a writer, have phrased the question better? Almost certainly. Yet, out of these 360,000 fresh babies, how many are made by celebrities? For this, Google was less helpful, so in lieu of an actual number, I'm going to say, maybe 7? This leaves a whole lot of babies that modern culture would have us believe we have no reason to care about.
Thankfully, there is an important baby on the horizon. The Kardashian-Jenner Axis is to further expand with the announcement that Kylie Jenner is expecting her first child. Kylie and her partner, musician Travis Scott, have been seeing each other since April and she is reportedly four months pregnant. Things progressed quickly for them.
That baby is set to be welcomed into a life of utter luxury, which, I guiltily admit that I can relate to, coming as I do from a family who briefly owned two cars, before the financial crash in 2007 forced us to trade back to the single Ford Focus, but for those halcyon few months, we were very much the Jenner's of Dublin.
