Stranger Things can seem to do no wrong other than that time they killed off a likable character and never gave her the send off she deserved. Yes, Stranger Things fan, we're talking about Barbs. The ginger haired teen was the understated hero of the show but was left to rot in the upside down. Understandable, Stranger Things creators felt guilty about not giving Barbs the send off she deserved so they made her her very own Stranger Things shrine at Comic- Con.
The shrine included childhood pictures of Barbs and letters of condolence from relatives and friends of her family.

Comic- con set up for Stranger Things included a giant video tunnel on the convention floor, Stranger Things artifacts and memorabilia, the boys' bikes, vintage video games, hidden clues for the next season.

The second season of Stranger Things promises to be full of Barb references but the creators of the show have put their foot down - Barbs isn't coming back.
Speaking to executive producer Shawn Levy, The Hollywood Reporter revealed there definitely will be no Barb:
People still think Barb's alive...You think you want that, but you wouldn't really want that... She had like a creature slug-worm-snake coming out of her mouth...I don't know that there's a bounce back from that... I will see that justice for her memory is a part of Season 2.
Levy even said that Hollywood A-listers have approached him at awards shows to try and reveal possible spoilers about Barb. Some fans are convinced that the shrine set up was a decoy and that Barbs is actually returning. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon imagined what it would be like if Barbs returned in Season 2 and we feel it's pretty accurate:
Stranger Things Season 2 will premiere on Netflix October 27.
