The first season of The Young Offenders television series was a massive success. Co-produced by the BBC with RTÉ, it carried on the acclaim that was lavished on the 2016 eponymous film that debuted the two beloved characters Conor and Jock.
If you're a fan of the show and have thought while watching "I could blend into the background of that scene", here's your opportunity. It's not every day you get the chance to star in one of your favourite Irish television series but thanks to the masterminds behind The Young Offenders you're getting that chance. They are currently seeking submissions from Cork locals as extras for the new series for several weeks from the end of May 2019 in Cork.

The application process is straight forward. To apply you must be aged 18 and over and available for shooting on/from 27th May 2019 in Cork for 10 hours shoot days. If you meet the criteria, email [email protected] with your name, age and date of birth, clear and recent photos (no Snapcat filters for this one), measurements and contact details.
